Two kinds of client
You want your house back by Friday and you want the dog let out. We work one room at a time, cover everything we are not painting, and text you before we arrive.
You want a number you can put in a budget and a crew that will not interrupt trading hours. Scope, schedule and submittals in writing before anyone opens a can.
In order
We measure, count doors and windows, note the repairs and leave with photos. The quote lists products by name and sheen, so you can compare it against anyone else’s.
Floors papered, furniture bagged, fixtures dropped. Patch, sand, caulk, spot prime. This is most of the labour and all of the difference.
Two finish coats unless the spec says otherwise. Cut lines by hand — no tape shortcuts where a brush does it better.
We walk it with you and write down every single thing you point at, then fix all of it before we invoice. Leftover paint labelled by room.
They repainted eleven units between tenants and hit every turnover date. The invoice matched the estimate to the dollar.
